First stop after landing at SFO. My relatives were familiar with this coffee shop after receiving recommendations from others. I had the ube latte and tasted the matcha latte. Both are amazing! Gets busy but staff were really patient with our questions. It was late afternoon so they were out of pastries.) Highly recommend!!! Wish I had time to go back before leaving California!

Cute coffee shop! It can get crowded on the weekends but moves quickly and has indoor seating and WiFi avail as well. First time coming and really enjoyed the ube latte. The honey lavender was also good and very unique but the floral taste was a bit too strong for me personally. Very friendly staff and clean space. I'll be back to try more of their drinks this summer!

We stopped by this cafe while we were in town for a friend's wedding reception and were very happy with what we received. First of all, we loved the ambiance. It was clean, cute, with a lot of character. The decal on the glass window as very cool and the fact that Inu Yasha was playing on a small tv was a very nice touch. As for the actual product, we ordered a thai tea mochi cake, a cold brew pour over, and a black sesame with oat milk. Thai Tea Mochi Cake - This was right up our alley. Thai tea flavor was definitely there and it was sweet but not TOO sweet so that you can just keep going in for more bites. The texture was fantastic a touch of Q from the mochi but still crumbly enough for a pound cake, best of both worlds for me. Would definitely get another. Black Sesame with Oat Milk - Sesame was there, milk was there, not too sweet. My wife wanted a slightly different ratio with the black sesame and the coffee and the barista offered to make us a entirely new drink with a smile on his face. Great service! The drink was good, just some slight tuning for personal taste which they readily offered. Single Origin Coffee - This was a bit acidic for my taste, but the flavors were definitely there. It was good coffee and exactly as advertised, just not something that fit me. I would definitely be happy to try another brew next time I'm there. Great spot, good product, fantastic people!

I was in the area for an errand and stumbled upon this cute little spot after parking my car nearby. I needed a morning pick-me-up and a light snack. Kaizen provided immensely. The menu was succinct and the display case of feast-for-the-eyes pastries hooked me in like a big ahi-tuna in the Pacific ocean. I ordered the Okinawa Brown Sugar specialty latte & Ube Croissant. It took a couple of minutes for me to receive my order but it was worth the wait. I thought my latte was gonna be too sweet but I was pleasantly surprised that the sweetness level was bearable for my personal preferences. The highlight for me was the Ube Croissant. After a Sur La Table croissant class, I really wanted to make my own Ube Criossant and I'm glad Kaizen provided with a stellar example that I aspire to achieve one day. Display case pastries can be hit/miss. But for my visit, I guess I came at the right time and/or their pastries were made at the highest level of baking craftsmanship, because it hit on a whole nother level! By far one of the best (Ube) croissants I've had in the Bay Area, no cap. Writing this review now, I will definitely want to come back to Kaizen soon. Do yourself a favor and come here even if you aren't in the area! Mahalo , @gerosan_adv
